No password required
RFPfit uses magic-link email sign-in: enter your email address at /login, click the link that arrives in your inbox, and you are signed in. RFPfit never asks for or stores a password.
The sign-in page also shows a Google sign-in option. If it is enabled, clicking it takes you through a standard Google OAuth flow. If it shows "coming soon," magic-link email is always available and works for every account.
Signing in for the first time
The same sign-in form creates your free account. There is no separate registration step. The first time you sign in, RFPfit asks you to set up an organization — that takes a few seconds and is explained in Organizations and Teams.
What a free account adds
The public catalog at /opportunities is fully open — no account needed to browse, search, or read any notice. Signing in adds:
- An organization dashboard with your shortlist and digest alerts
- A shared saved-opportunities watchlist — triage and tag notices, shared with every member of your organization
- Saved searches with email digest alerts when new opportunities match
- A deadline calendar with a private calendar-app (ICS) feed and 7/3/1-day reminders for opportunities you are pursuing
- Intelligence pages — contract award history, vendor profiles, and a recompete radar showing contracts expiring in the coming months
- An AI brief on notices from supported sources — a plain-language summary of what is being bought, key dates, and what is missing
All of the above are free. See Free vs. Pro for what ships with the RFPfit Pro tier.
Signing out and signing back in
Use the Sign out button in the navigation bar inside the app. To sign back in, go to /login and enter your email address again. Sign-in links expire after a short window — if yours has expired, request a new one.
Privacy
Browsing the public catalog collects nothing about you. Creating an account uses magic-link sign-in with no password stored. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
