Getting started

  • What Is RFPfit?

RFPfit finds Canadian public-sector procurement notices that fit creative, communications, and nonprofit-adjacent suppliers.

  • Accounts and Sign In

How to sign in to RFPfit with a magic-link email — no password required — and what a free account adds.

  • Organizations and Teams

RFPfit organizes every account around an organization — a shared workspace for saved searches, shortlists, and digest settings.

  • Free vs. Pro

Everything that is free on RFPfit today, and what RFPfit Pro ($29 CAD/month founding rate) unlocks.

Finding opportunities

  • Browsing the Catalog

How to search and filter open opportunities at /opportunities, use category groups, and read active filter chips.

  • Understanding Notice Pages

What you see on a public notice page — status, deadline timezone, Last Updated, and the link to the official source portal.

  • Data Sources and Freshness

Which official open-data sources RFPfit ingests, how licences work, and how current the catalog is.

  • Saved Searches and Email Digests

How to save keyword and filter combinations, enable digest emails for new matches, and manage unsubscribing.

Tracking your pipeline

  • Shortlist and Triage

Save opportunities to your team shortlist, sort them by status, add tags, and teach your fit ranking with every triage decision.

  • Deadline Calendar and Reminders

How the deadline calendar works, how to subscribe via ICS, and how to turn on 7/3/1-day email reminders.

  • What's New Feed

A daily digest of changes across your saved searches, shortlist, and fit profile — new matches, closing deadlines, fresh awards, and moved dates.

  • Fit Profile and Scoring

Set up your organization's fit profile so RFPfit can signal which notices match your capabilities, sectors, and regions.

Intelligence features

  • AI Briefs and Application Checklists

Plain-language summaries and actionable checklists on notice pages — what the AI covers, what comes from the database, and how check-off works.

  • Awards, Vendors, and Recompete Radar

Browse contract award history, explore supplier profiles, and find contracts expiring in the next 3–24 months — all available to free account members.

  • Bid Scorecard and Similar Opportunities

The "Should we bid?" panel scores five dimensions with an overall lean; More Like This surfaces related open notices with a reason.

  • Proposal Studio

Paste an RFP and get a verified compliance matrix, a proposal outline, and — with Pro — a grounded first draft of every section.

Account, privacy & help

  • Billing and Subscriptions

What's free, what RFPfit Pro costs ($29 CAD/month or $290 CAD/year, founding rate), and how subscribing works.

What is RFPfit.com?

RFPfit.com aggregates Canadian public-sector procurement notices from official open-data sources and surfaces the ones that fit a specific set of services — creative, media, communications, public consultation, training, research, evaluation, accessibility, digital, and nonprofit-adjacent work.

Who is it for?

Independent consultants, agencies, and nonprofits who bid on Canadian public-sector contracts in those service areas.

Which data sources does RFPfit.com cover?

Procurement notices come from CanadaBuys (federal), SEAO (Québec), the City of Toronto, and Yukon Bids & Tenders; grant opportunities come from Canadian arts and industry funders. The Sources page lists every source with its licence and current open count.

Is it free?

The public catalog is free with no account required. A free account adds an organization dashboard, a shared saved-opportunities watchlist with triage, saved searches with email digests, a deadline calendar with a calendar-app feed and 7/3/1-day reminders for pursued opportunities, plus award-history, vendor, and recompete intelligence pages.

What is Fit Intelligence?

Fit Intelligence is RFPfit's per-notice briefing for subscribed organizations: why an opportunity may fit, key risks, missing information, and a recommended next step. It is built into the product and unlocks with RFPfit Pro, which is not yet available to purchase. Fit signals are derived from RFPfit's classification rules, not a guarantee of award or eligibility.

What does "in development" mean?

It means a feature does not exist in the product yet — not a beta, not a limited rollout. Nothing on the pricing page currently carries that label: saved searches, email digests, and deadline reminders (7/3/1 days before each pursued opportunity closes) are all live on every free account.

Do I need an account to browse opportunities?

No. The full public catalog is open to anyone, with no sign-in required.

How is my privacy handled?

Browsing the public catalog collects nothing about you. Creating an account uses magic-link email sign-in with no password stored.

How current is the catalog?

Each source refreshes on its own cadence; the catalog pages themselves are revalidated at most every five minutes. The "Last updated" date on each listing shows when that notice's content last actually changed, not when it was last checked.
