What the feed shows

The What changed since yesterday? page at /app/whats-new summarizes what has changed since you last checked in. It is organized into four sections:

  • New matches — notices that arrived since your last visit and match one of your saved searches, or (for subscribed organizations) score against your fit profile
  • Closing soon — notices on your shortlist, or strong-fit open notices (subscribed organizations), whose deadlines fall within the next 7 days
  • Newly awarded — fresh contract award records from buyers you follow or in your preferred regions
  • Updated deadlines — deadline changes detected on notices in your orbit

Each item links directly to the notice or to the relevant section so you can act on it without digging through the catalog.

The time window

The feed always covers at least the last 24 hours. If you haven't visited in several days, the window expands to cover everything since your last visit — you won't miss changes that happened while you were away.

Every item traces back to a real database event: a notice's first-seen date, a published closing date, a contract award's publication date, or a detected deadline change. Empty sections say so honestly rather than padding with invented content.

Marking as caught up

Once you've reviewed the feed, click Mark as caught up. This advances your personal marker to now, so your next visit shows only what's new since this moment.

Marking as caught up is a personal action — it moves your own marker, not your teammates'. Each member of your organization has their own caught-up position.

A note on award data

The Newly awarded section shows records from buyers and regions you follow. Award data arrives in batches from source feeds, so this section is often quiet between batch days — an empty section does not mean no awards were published, only that none arrived in RFPfit's last update for the sources in your orbit.
